UMW Spiritual Retreat

At the Eagle Rock Sanctuary , July 11th – 10:00am-2:00pm . Bring a sack lunch.

All-Church Picnic

To help create community the church will sponsor an all church picnic at Rose Park on Sunday, July 12th from 5-7:00pm. We will have horseshoes, volleyball, fun games and places to just sit in the shade and watch the fun. Make plans to attend no matter what your age. This will be a fun time to socialize together.

Vacation Bible School

Vacation Bible School is going to be an exciting time for families and will be held here at the church from July 27th-30th. VBS will be held from 5:30-7:30 each of these nights and families are invited to attend together. We will share dinner and a song time then split into age groups to play games, do crafts and play in our Bibles.

During the time the children are learning about God’s covenant with Abraham, Moses and Jesus, the adults will gather for three nights of relationship discussions. One evening we will have a parenting educator share thoughts on parenting issues, another evening we will have a community member help us think about our children’s sexuality and help us learn to talk to our children, another evening Susan will share ideas about developing your own relationship with God and helping your children to develop a relationship with God. Our final evening together we will spend the entire time together on a project designed to bring us closer together in community, as family and to God.

The education committee will be calling in the first few weeks of June to put together our teaching team. If you area called, please consider how you might give of your time to make VBS a place for our community to grow and learn. If you are interested in helping with VBS, don’t wait for us to call, contact Lori Belgarde and let you know how you would like to support this event.
